The lewd behaviour horrified the woman, who told him his immediate apology “wasn’t going to cut it”.
The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has pleaded guilty in Albury Local Court to charges including two counts of domestic violence-related assault, contravene an apprehended violence order, commit an act of indecency where the victim is under 10 and stalk or intimidate.
The 33-year-old Lavington man is in Junee jail and will remain there at least until his sentencing on October 23.
Magistrate Rodney Brender said the charges were “serious”.
The court was told the woman was granted an apprehended violence order in June, 2017, with herself and the children – a boy, now 7, and a girl, 19 months – named as victims.
The three victims were in the lounge room of a Springdale Heights house on October 1 about 10am when the man walked naked out of the shower.
“The accused stood in front of the victims and started waving his penis about, making the action of masturbating with his penis in his hand,” police said.
The incident was brief and he quickly sat down and covered himself with a towel.
After his partner refused his apology he walked out the front door, which she locked.
A few hours later the boy let him back in.
But the man pushed the boy in the chest, knocking him over.
When the boy got to his feet, the man slapped him around the head several times.
He also stood face-to-face with the woman and shouted at her, while holding down her hands, then kicked her several times in the shins.
