After turning in competitive performances against Yackandandah and Mt Beauty, the Miners opened their account by successfully chasing down 185.
Murray Price (51) and Sean Lappin (44) topscored for the victors as the home team hit the winning runs with just over three overs to spare.
“We thought we had the chase under control all the way,” coach Chris Hartshorn said.
“We had plenty of batting to come.
“We just had to play it carefully and not lose wickets like we did last week against Mt Beauty.
“We haven’t been too far off so it was good to get a win on the board.”
Jamie Baude (47) and Tom Hodgkin (41) batted well for Eskdale.
Yackandandah and Mt Beauty’s clash was abandoned after 21 overs.
