Ride High Country – 7 Peaks encourages cyclists to ride Mount Buffalo, Mount Buller, Dinner Plain, Falls Creek, Mount Hotham, Mount Baw Baw and Lake Mountain between October 26 and April 28 next year.
Last season nearly 10,000 rides were registered with 321 cyclists from every state and territory conquering all seven peaks.
Tourism North East’s 7 Peaks app is available for download, offering a digital passport for recording completed rides, information and maps.

“Cycle tourism continues to boom in the High Country,” a Tourism North East spokeswoman said.
“Last year more than 120,000 cycling visitors headed to the region, adding more than $70 million to the local economy.”
She said cycle-related businesses across road, mountain biking and rail trail cycling had grown also, with 10 tour operators now leading multi-day cycling getaway tours across the region.
