“It was a good strong win, we’ve only had her for three starts, we brought her from the Kris Lees stable (in Newcastle),” he said.
The four-year-old nabbed a third at Cootamundra on debut for Kirkup late last month and second at Albury a fortnight ago.
“She’ll be nominated for a few places, including Albury,” Kirkup said, who’s a regular visitor to the track.
Hulm might have missed out by just under two lengths, but it was a good day for home trainers.
Kym Davison’s Toffey Miss ($1.90F) claimed the opening maiden over 900m from Brussels ($5.50) and Integrated ($12).
Hulm’s daughter, Donna Scott, won with Thunder Tub ($2.30F) over 1500m, while yet another favourite in Garry Worsnop’s Nothin’ Like Harry ($2) won over 1400m.
The four-year-old now has three wins from six starts.
