As The Border Mail revealed earlier this week, Mr Clancy edged out Albury councillor Alice Glachan and Walla farmer Tobias Lehmann.
“I am humbled and honoured to be selected as the Liberal candidate for the Albury electorate,” he said.
“I thank the local party members for the opportunity to continue building our community.
“I would also like to pay tribute to my friend and mentor, Greg Aplin for his dedication and service to our community and I look forward to working with him closely over the coming months.
“I have been committed to this region through my business, and participation in a variety of community groups, sport and family activities, and would be honoured to represent this community in the NSW Parliament should the people of this great electorate support me at the state election on March 23.”
