Murray United officially commences its pre-season with the first of three open training runs at La Trobe on Saturday.
The NPL outfit has invited any senior, under-20 and under-18 players to train at the club and stake their claims for a place in the squad.
“We have had interest from all over the country and even abroad, so we will see some new faces and we are really excited to see the talent that’s out there, but more importantly the talent that is right on our doorstep,” senior coach Elliot Jones said.
“We have some of the best AWFA players looking to make the transition this year and we hope to see more.
“It’s a great time of year leading into Christmas and as coaches we really just look to let the players express themselves and enjoy the sessions.”
Saturday’s session runs from 10am to 12pm, with two more from 6.30pm on Monday and Wednesday.
The club is set to announce its senior coaching panel for the 2019 season next week.
