The 26-year-old ripped through New City’s batting on Saturday, claiming 6-23.
He’s now claimed 20 wickets across the association’s two formats, snaring eight at the miserly average of just 5.5 at T20 level and 12 at just over eight in the 50-over matches.
“Yeah for sure, the way he’s bowling at the moment a) he’s bowling accurately and he’s bowling with good pace,” Tuffey said.
“Everything’s just falling into place for him and he’s just picking up wickets every time he comes onto bowl, he’s going through a golden stretch.”
Tuffey is naturally well qualified to speak on fast bowlers, given he played 26 Tests and 94 one-day internationals for the Kiwis.
Everything’s just falling into place for him and he’s just picking up wickets every time.

But he also has a thorough knowledge of NSW Premier Cricket after coaching stints with Bankstown and Sutherland.
“He got a couple of wickets early on, in his second spell he got another two and then he got two at the end, so exactly what you want your quicks to do, he’s picked up wickets regularly all season,” he said.
“I think he’s pretty unlucky to miss out on Riverina (selection), he’s the in-form bowler.”
Riverina has just contested the NSW Country Championship.
Tassell showed he can play at that next level after snaring four wickets in the recent Regional Bash T20 tournament, while he also boasts an O’Farrell Cup hat-trick at representative level.
A product of Riverina town Temora, Tassell finished eighth last season in the wicket-taker’s list with 26.
There would be no more exciting time to play grade in Sydney, given banned Australian stars Steve Smith and David Warner are playing.
