Albury has hosted the coveted event since 2008 and has again witnessed a quality display of tennis at this year’s tournament.
Sydney’s Meriden School has won the girls championship the past four years and is in the box seat again.

Both Meriden Blue and Meriden White have qualified for the semi-finals, alongside Maribyrnong College and Kelvin Grove College.
In the boys’ tournament, Brisbane Boys College, The McDonald College, Applecross Senior High School and Kelvin Grove College are the front-runners.
A combined Albury and district schools team is competing at the event, including Daniel Neville, Rory Parnell, Lukas Evans, Tom Harrington and Tom Grigg.
The school teams from all over Australia will also play for the coveted John Newcombe Sportsmanship Award – allowing players from a boys and girls team to attend the John Newcombe Tennis Academy in Texas.
The overall winners will go on to represent Australia at the International School Sport Federation World Schools Tennis Championship in Castel di Sangro, Italy, from June 2-9, 2019.
Finals will be contested on Wednesday.
