The comic book pioneer died at age 95 in Los Angeles on Monday.
Mr Jack, who writes indie comic The Talking Bread, said a brief meeting with Mr Lee in 2014 was an unforgettable moment.
“He was a genuinely lovable guy, I met him for five minutes but it was five minutes I'll remember forever,” he said.
Tributes for the Spiderman, X-Men and Avengers writer have poured in from across the world, many making note of the unique and relatable way in which Mr Lee wrote his characters.
“Stan's characters were so relatable to everyday people,” Mr Jack said.
“You think of Spiderman, who is really Peter Parker, just a young man.
“That's what makes his comics so enduring, people can relate to those characters.
“He's inspired multiple generations to make comics, go out there and try their luck.”
Mr Lee shot to fame alongside artists Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko.
