Artist and owner Abi Thompson has spent the past few months researching the history of the Beechworth Road property and will host open days at the house from 10am to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday.
“This home is part of Wodonga’s heritage,” she said.
Ms Thompson moved into the cottage three years ago to establish her art business.
She said the history of the home, built by Albert Bartell in 1911, appealed to her.
Mr Bartell ran a saw mill in the Kiewa Valley and built the family home from timbers he cut and dressed himself.
Some of the artists whose works will be on display include Alan Phillips, Janine Hilder, Mandy Munro, Steven Anderson, Carin Giblin, Elenore Nicholson and Debbie Deickmann.
