Tallangatta’s premiership hopes could rest on star batsman Sahib Malhotra’s visit to a physio after he suffered a recurrence of a quad complaint on Saturday.

Malhotra suffered the injury while bowling against St Patrick’s.
“I’m not sure how bad it is right now, the physio is coming back tomorrow (Monday),” he said.
“When I got injured it was in my first over and then I managed to bowl my 10 overs.”

The leg-spinner finished with 0-34 from his 10 overs, before batting with a runner.
It didn’t curtail his strong start to the season, posting a top-score of 58 from 89 deliveries, striking two boundaries and a six.
The injury could well have played a role in his dismissal as his runner was run out.
Malhotra first suffered the injury while playing in Canada.
If he’s cleared to play against New City on Saturday, he admits he will be restricted.
“I won’t be able to run, but I can bat and I can bowl,” he said.
“I have to go play matches back home, so I don’t want to get injured.”
Malhotra leads the run-scoring with just the one 50-over game left before Christmas.
The classy right-hander has 370 runs at 123, clocking up four half-centuries with a top score of 95 not out.
Speculation has been rife that Malhotra was set to leave the Bushies to seek residency in Canada.
Captain-coach Matt Armstrong recently rejected the claim and the former Indian under 19 squad member reiterated he will stay until the end of the season.
“I’m just focusing on this Australian season with Tallangatta,” he said.
