With rain lashing Albury and Wodonga on Thursday, curator Shayne Ried was unable to get the grasscourts prepared in time for the weekend.
“The courts were underwater at one stage and they are still a bit wet,” association president Ken Wurtz said.
“We probably needed another day for them to dry out and line.”
Matches will be played at hardcourts in Albury and Wodonga with further details able to be found on the association’s website.
Meanwhile, Cricket Albury-Wodonga provincial and district first grade matches look set to go ahead this weekend.
“At this stage we haven’t heard of any grounds being ruled out,” chairman Michael Erdeljac said.
“The water looks to have got away fairly quickly which has allowed good drying time.”
CAW Hume has already started its Christmas break.
