Stable-mates Mitch Palmer, Carrick Gill-Vallance and David Flood snared the top three placings respectively in the 400m event.
“It’s a pretty good feat, you don’t see that too often,” coach Adrian Fury said.
It was Palmer’s second win for the season, which is only a month old.
“Marysville was a unique track because the back straight was uphill and the front straight was downhill down to the finish line,” he said.
“I made my move around 200m, I went around most of the field I suppose, except for Dave and Carrick, and I only got those two in the last five metres.”
Palmer says he wasn’t too cheeky to his mates.
“I came second to Dave at Waverley and he was very humble, so I had to do the same,” he laughed.
Fury’s team has snared a podium finish at all meets with the group now targeting the traditional Maryborough Gift on New Year’s Day.
