With paper and other materials donated for volunteers to use by Myer Centrepoint, all proceeds from the activities go back into local programs.
Stations will be set up in the centre right up until 5.30pm on Christmas Eve, with seeing eye dog Angela also making appearances.
Vision Australia Albury volunteer co-ordinator Troy Gladwell said with five days of wrapping left, funds raised were past halfway towards the goal amount.
“We have 30 volunteers helping out this year, including corporate volunteers from ANZ and MAMA, with the youngest person being 11 and the oldest just on 90,” he said.
“It’s a great way for the community to directly help our clients, and it’s also a way fro us to interact with the community.”
There are also children’s books based around a seeing eye dog and large print calendars for sale.
