The independent MP will convene with Mr Morrison on Tuesday.
“I’m calling on the Prime Minister to keep the promise he made in August last year for an Albury Wodonga Regional City Deal,” Ms McGowan said.
City Deals involve all tiers of government, the community and private enterprise combining on planning and investment to generate jobs and urban renewal.
Ms McGowan will also raise concerns about Tarrawingee, Everton and Eldorado’s access to disaster funding following the December storms.
She said such rural communities were unable to tap into aid due to an anomaly.
“I will be asking for a review of the criteria,” Ms McGowan said.
