The 28-year-old man was arrested after allegedly punching the 19-year-old victim while holding onto a glass on Saturday night.
Police were called to the venue about 10.45pm following the incident, which left the victim with a cut above his eyebrow.
The older man has been charged with reckless wounding.
Detective Inspector Winston Woodward said such incidents had the potential to inflict serious damage to victims.
“It’s a shame,” he said.
“We’ve gone through a Christmas period where our licensed premises have been fairly safe and secure.
“I’m sure that we will work together with the clubs and licensed premises to continue to bring a safe and secure environment to Albury residents.”
