The Hoppers scraped through, 59-58, away to Holbrook on Saturday thanks to Norm Honey’s 30-10 win against Wolfgang Kaletta.
Holbrook jagged the other two rinks with Chris Heather accounting for Stephen Broad, 24-19, and Gavin Jones beating former teammate Duane Crow, 24-10.
Lavington continued its flying start with a 72-46 win against Culcairn.
Adrian Pantling scored a 33-14 triumph over Jim Lee, with Max Scanlan a 20-15 winner against Dave Trebley and Darren Moore pipping Terry Hensel, 19-17.
Henty claimed a 57-49 victory at Howlong.
Glenn Harrison had the biggest margin of the day with a 17-11 salute against Ian Doolan.
Peter Forck saw off Phil Slater, 24-22, with John Dawson and Kerry Boyle finishing locked at 16-all.

Grade five saw Howlong (67) take down Walla (60), Commercial (61) was too strong for North Albury (54), while Culcairn forfeited to Oaklands.
North Albury (68) beat Commercial (56) in grade six, with Lavington (60) outlasting Holbrook (45).
The Hoppers’ grade seven side defeated Urana, 65-50, while Henty (62) got past Walla (54).
