Not one, not two, but three pairs of twins – Ellie and Ruby Parker, Rhys and Josh Pantling, and Bridie and Anna Hawkins, will enjoy their first day of school, in the same class.
All family friends, the group of six couldn’t wait to get stuck into their first day, Ellie and Ruby’s mum Alyssa said.
“The girls are very excited, I don’t think there will be any tears from them,” she said.
“They’re all feeling the same way, they’re friends and they’re so used to hanging out with each other anyway.
“We thought it would be better to keep them together for the first year, rather than separate them.”

Term one will run through until March 29.
Victoria Police have issued a reminder to motorists that school zone speed limits are once again in place.
