In another lopsided contest, CAW cruised to their sixth successive victory with coach Daryl Tuffey having the luxury of resting key players including Ryan and Nathan Brown.
They will now play Leeton.
Tuffey said he was pleased with CAW’s consistency with the bat and ball.
“I thought the boys bowled good lines and backed it up with the bat,” Tuffey said.
“We’re getting an even contribution across the board.
“We had players come in today and I thought they did a terrific job.”
Yass started its innings brightly before falling away badly with the exception of Allan Neill who made 49.
Cameron Suidgeest (3-17) and Byron Hales (3-13) were the pick of the CAW bowlers as Yass were bundled out in 45 overs.
“Cameron and Byron put their batsmen under a lot of pressure,” Tuffey said.
“Yass had a few good bats at the top of the order and our blokes just kept at it before wearing them down.”
The fielding performance was highlighted by a brilliant run out from North Albury’s Brendan Simmons who hit one stump from cover point from 40 metres.
CAW made light work of the run chase with BJ Garvey going on the attack from the outset, smashing 41 off 43 deliveries.
Simmons (53 not out) and Matt Crawshaw (30 not out) then reeled in the target as the host association scored the winning runs in driving rain.
A storm then lashed the ground which would have made it unplayable.
In-form East Albury batsman Kris Milosta was a late withdrawal after breaking his finger on Saturday.
While CAW will again start firm favourites against Leeton this weekend, Wagga looks set to provide the toughest test in the final challenge of the season.
Wagga has been CAW’s nemesis in recent battles.
