The clash will feature players from the national squad and some familiar names from across the Southern Inland Rugby Union competition.
Both sides will bring a full complement of players.
Brumbies’ spokesperson Russ Gibbs said the Border is a good halfway mark for the sides to play a trial.
“We came down there last year and played a trial match,” Gibbs said.
“The Albury Steamers have always been really good in supporting our pathway.
“Often when we play the Rebels, we play in Albury because it’s a halfway point, it’s a good facility down there and they always look after us as a club.”

In addition to the three senior grades, the vast junior program and the highly successful sevens competition, the Steamers will be entering a women’s team in this year’s SIRU competition.
“The trial game will be a great opportunity for current players and potential players to see some of their idols in action,” Steamers president Mick Raynes said.
“The club will be running a barbecue and have a few drinks available on the day as well.
“Entry is free and people are encouraged to get there early to grab a good vantage point.”
Kick-off is at 1.30pm.
