Coach Shaun Wilhelm expects a good hit-out as the Wanderers host State League 5 outfit East Kew United at Willow Park on Saturday.
“It’s more getting the run in the legs before the start of the season, but playing someone different to the local clubs,” he said.
“You find when you play teams from around here all the time, you know what’s going to happen.
“We’ll rotate everyone through and give some guys a little bit extra.”

Jayson Ferguson has returned to the club after two seasons off, but Wilhelm admitted the senior side will be very youth-focused.
“We’re pretty settled with our squad, so hopefully we can progress this weekend and have another hit-out next weekend,” he added.
Kick-off is at 1pm.
Myrtleford faces Albert Park in Melbourne, while Wangaratta progressed to the next round after a forfeit from Morwell Pegasus.
