Findlay's presentation at The Cube Wodonga on March 7, 6pm, will discuss Say Hello, which outlines her experiences living with a rare skin condition as well as other people's assumptions.

The title, chosen since "the book was just a twinkle in my eye" comes from the fact many people can blurt out personal questions or comments before even greeting somebody with a visible difference.
"I don't want people to say hello patronisingly or make a big deal out of it, just saying hello before, if at all, asking about our condition," Findlay told The Border Mail.
The book includes practical tips that challenge beliefs such as the idealised inspiration prompted by seeing people with disabilities just going about their day.
"The idea that we have to behave a certain way, that we can't be upset or angry, we must be measured, we must satisfy everyone's curiosity, I find that quite tricky," Findlay said.
