The delightful four-year-old, from Henty, was called up at the last minute on Thursday after another girl succumbed to stage fright.
The first-time actress put in a polished performance, faithfully repeating her lines for the crew from central coast company The Filmery.
Multi-Golden Guitar winner Storer was on location to film the clip for the title track to her eighth album, which will be launched at the Commercial Club Albury on April 13.
Storer, who lives with husband Dave and their four sons down the road at Bowna, said Henty had proven the perfect spot to film the clip for the song that calls on Aussies to "dance and sing this drought away".
"We needed a town that was situated in a drought-affected area with a good sense of community," she said.
"Henty is a gorgeous little town but like so many of our regional towns, its prosperity relies on the weather."
In Raindance, "the beautiful main character" is a little girl who is worried about her mum and dad because they are so concerned that it isn't raining, Storer explained.
"She decides she's going to fix things by performing her own rain dance and heads off without telling her parents," she said.
"The townsfolk follow behind her to see what this little character is up to now."

The little girl ends up performing a special dance on top of a hill.
"Does it rain or not - we won't know 'til the filming is over," Storer teased.
Storer said this album had been the most enjoyable to write and record.
"I want to be a voice for people in the bush and tell their stories through song," she said.
"Raindance calls to all Australians - in the city and the country - to perform their own special dance …
"Maybe you could be the one with the magic to break this dreaded drought."
Storer will embark on the Raindance tour in coming weeks accompanied by big brother Greg, also a talented musician and vocalist.
The Walgett farmer didn't put a crop in last year and Storer joked perhaps she may yet convert him from full-time farmer to full-time musician.
"I'm so excited about officially launching the album in Albury; last time we performed here the support was overwhelming," Storer added.
