Klein put a series of tough lead-up matches behind him to produce some sparkling form at Albury Grasscourts.
The win came only two days after he defeated Queensland's Calum Puttergill 7-6 6-7 7-6 (14-12) in a marathon three hour, 50 minute quarter-final.

- Brendan Lee
Klein backed up his singles victory by taking out the doubles crown in the afternoon.
He and Scott Puodziunas defeated Harry Bouchier and Chris O'Connell 6-1 7-6 with the pair entertaining the local pennant players with their power serving.
Tournament co-ordinator Brendan Lee said Klein and Kelly played some outstanding tennis throughout the week.
"Brydan had some tough matches, but played really well in the final," Lee said.
Kelly is the number one seed for this week's pro tour event as the tournament goes off Australian rather than ITF rankings.
The tournament carries $25,000 prizemoney and has attracted players from many countries including Japan, US, France and India.
Play starts on Monday.
