In front of a 500-strong crowd keen to see Glenn McGrath in action, the Tigers made 168 thanks to solid knocks from Damian Wardius (37), Mason Collins (31) and Jarrod Miller (28).
Henty's Greg Schuller topscored in the chase with 54 with skipper Mark White making 37.
"It got pretty tight," skipper Mason Collins said.
"It was a big day for the club."
Rand won its sixth successive match with an impressive eight-wicket victory over Culcairn at Culcairn on Saturday.
While it was originally thought the win had secured the Pigeons the minor premiership, a recalculation saw Holbrook claim top spot on run rate.
Rand skipper Mark Kreutzberger said it was pleasing to head into finals in good form.
"We haven't dropped a game since Christmas so the boys are playing pretty well," Kreutzberger said.
"It's a very even competition though."
Culcairn could only manage 71 with Nathan I'Anson, Daniel Lieschke and Bryce Swift dominating with the ball.
Lieschke picked up the prized wicket for Steve Brand for a duck with the Culcairn star walking after he feathered a ball to wicketkeeper Brad I'Anson.
Rand took the opportunity to give several of its batsmen time in the middle with Brayden Lieschke (25 not out), Clinton Ralston (19) and Daniel Lieschke (15) seeing the Pigeons home in 25 overs.
Holbrook opener Hamish Mackinlay warmed up for the finals by making 112 in the Brookers' huge win over Burrumbuttock.
He and Corey McCarthy put on 148 for the first wicket which helped the home team reach an imposing 4-248.
The Swans could only manage 59 in reply with Andrew Mackinlay grabbing 4-30.
Walla coach Tom Simmons continued his fine season by scoring a century in the Hoppers' win over Lockhart.
Simmons, who took his season tally to 586 after making 102, received support from Joel Merkel (28) in a score of 7-181.
Lockhart started its chase brightly before Walter Paech stunned the Demons by taking 7-26 off 7.5 overs.
Osborne defeated TRYC by four wickets.
