"It was a huge day," Collins said.
The McGrath Foundation has been blown away by how much money we raised
- Sue Collins
"The McGrath Foundation has been blown away by how much money we raised.
"We are still working on the exact figure but I'd say it will be somewhere between $26,500 and $27,500."
About 500 people attended the match between Walbundrie and Henty at Walbundrie on Sunday with former Australian cricketer Glenn McGrath bowling an over for the Tigers.
The hosts won the final round match by 10 runs.
"Businesses and local community groups donated money to assist with keeping the cost of the day down which enabled us to give more to the foundation," she said.
"Glenn was fantastic too.
"A lot of people commented how good he was signing autographs and giving his time.
"We're really happy everyone supported it."
