The US pair trained with the group for the first time this week and are ready to make a huge impact in the inaugural NBL1 season.
Bosley is expected to slot in as point-guard and is a proven scorer, having played professionally in Palestine last year, while Jones is a quality big-man and comes in high regard having trialled with the Phoenix Suns and Houston Rockets in NBA pre-season camps.
"When you get them here, it's satisfaction, excitement and all those sort of things, but there's still that level of anxiety about it all too," Chalmers said.
"They're good guys, they know what they're here for, they've been really professional about it so far.
"They've met all their teammates and that chemistry is there immediately.
"We need to make sure these guys are prepared and the games we play they're performing, even through the pre-season.
"They don't have any time to mess around."
Chalmers and the club made a conscious effort to get an American point guard to assist Deba George.
"Last year we had a lot of injuries, Dan Sepokas and Sawyer Dearborn, having them out all year was tough," Chalmers said.
"He'll (Bosley) probably be the number one scoring option for us with his talent.
"With the big fella (Jones), it's about rebounding, protecting the paint and obviously we need to give him plenty of touches inside.
"He's going to be a hard cover, I don't envy anyone around the league having to guard him when he gets the ball close to the basket."

Chalmers added the Bandits would have re-signed club MVP Lamar Mallory "in a heartbeat", but the power-forward accepted another offer in Germany.
"These guys are probably the same, they'll get to the end of the season and opportunities will pop up - that's the life of a professional basketballer," he said.
"We understand these guys might not return, if we're lucky enough where they connect enough to the city and want to hang around, great, but we sort of know it's generally one and done with these blokes."
Bosley believes NBL1 will give him an opportunity to grow his game.
"My whole career, even in college, I've been a scorer," Bosley said.
"I played the two a lot and in Palestine I got some experience playing the one, but still scoring for the most part."
Jones stands at 204cm and will add plenty to the side at both ends of the floor.
"I felt this would be a better move for me to get back on my feet playing a strong level of basketball - it was a no-brainer," Jones said.
Chalmers confirmed the departure of Sawyer Dearborn, while former captain Jack Duck, Daniel Sepokas, Tevin Jackson, Lamar Mallory and Rashad Hassan have also left the club.
