League-equalling seven-time premiership players Joel Mackie and Chris Hyde were joined by six-time flag winner Matt Fowler, Tim Scott and Glenn Page in the side, which was named at Albury's SS&A Club on Saturday night.
Five-time premiership coach Paul Spargo, who was unable to attend, was named mentor.
"He's really, really passionate and he's a great people manager, so he does get the best out of people," Hyde said of Spargo.
The Morris medallist and Page were named on half-back flanks, while the bullocking Mackie was selected at half-forward.
Long-time Tigers' centre half-forward Fowler, who sits third in the league's goalkicking with 812 from 354 games, was moved to a forward pocket, while Scott snared the other.
Page, Hyde and Scott were among the seven players boasting AFL experience, along with Yarrawonga trio Fevola, Craig Ednie and Tim Hargreaves, while Wangaratta's Jon McCormick was named in the centre.
Rob Walker was selected ruck rover and captain and he was the star of the show, becoming the only player also named in the Team of the Century.
"It was interesting I guess because I was a Wangaratta Magpie player which was the enemy of Wangaratta Rovers, but everyone respected Robbie," McCormick said.
"He was a hero to all the young kids growing up, everyone wanted to watch him play at the very least and whenever he had a conversation with you, it was a bit of a buzz as well."
Like a number of the inductees, including the quietly-spoken McCormick, Walker was uncomfortable with the limelight, particularly his team-mate's high praise.
"It's almost wrong mate (laughs)," he said.
"When he (McCormick) was at Carlton, my old man was a Carlton fan so we were stoked, but he was our arch enemy because he was at Wangaratta, but because he was playing at Carlton, it was like fantastic."
All 10 clubs were represented, with Travis Hodgson (North Albury, Myrtleford) and Corowa-Rutherglen's Craig Tafft holding down the key backline positions, while 14-year Lavington coach Tim Sanson rounded out the spine, along with McCormick and Fevola.
The charismatic spearhead (66 games for 366 goals) and McCormick (75 matches) were the only players selected under 100 games.
"I definitely wouldn't be here if it wasn't for all my team-mates, particularly the older guys we played with like Jon Henry and Dale Carmody, who look after you, this makes me really proud to be a Magpie," he said.
