"Pat's given really good service to the footy club since coming out to Osborne and he'll be missed," Rava said.
"A good employment opportunity has come up so he'll be heading over to the coast.
"He was really good in our premiership side."
Delaney was injured on the eve of last season's finals series and missed Osborne's eight-point loss to Jindera in the elimination final.
Rava said the Cats had enjoyed a strong pre-season with a training camp held at Narrandera late last month.
"We've kept the side together pretty well," he said.
"Sam (Livingstone) and Brad Boots have come on board and we get a few back from injury."
Queenslander Duncan Redway has also joined Osborne after moving to the region while Will Ryan is back from a stint in Canberra.
George Alexander, Andrew Clarke and Clancy Galvin are returning from injury.
