Albury State Emergency Service volunteers worked until midnight on Tuesday responding to 15 call-outs after lightning storms came through the region.

Most of the calls related to tree branches falling down and occurred between about 5.30pm and 6.30pm.
The Albury unit reported incidents in Lavington (six), Thurgoona (five), Ettamogah (two), North Albury (one) and Springdale Heights (one).
Another request for assistance in Lavington came through yesterday morning.
Helen Simmons, of Albury SES, said the unit had two volunteer teams out, with about nine attending jobs plus office staff.
"Branches down, trees down, partly down," she said.
"Not a lot of extra damage done, I believe, more just the cutting back of what was down."

A Victoria SES spokeswoman said North East units received 44 call-outs over 24 hours, with incidents peaking between 6pm and 8pm Tuesday and none recorded overnight.
Thirty of the calls related to trees down near major roads, presenting a potential traffic hazard.
The spokeswoman said one call at Corryong referred to flooding, but she had no other details, while no other house damage had been recorded.
Mrs Simmons said some residents reporting incidents dialled triple zero, but this was not the most efficient method.
"If people have a tree or a roof job in a storm, they can ring 132 500," she said.
"Leave triple zero for the life-threatening things."
According to the Bureau of Meteorology, Albury airport received 5.4 millimetres in about 20 minutes on Tuesday, between 5.41pm and 6pm.
Another millimetre of rain fell before 11pm.
