The girls posted a 24 point win against the Western Jets in round two of the 2019 NAB League season, with a sensational performance from Lavington forward Olivia Barber.
"It was really good to see reward for effort from the girls after a tough round one," Murray Bushrangers girls coach Tim Madden said.
"Liv was really good, we know her strengths as a forward comes from crashing packs and bringing her team mates into the game.
"Her best footy is when she's chasing and tackling."
The Bushrangers now line up for a round three clash with Gippsland Power on Sunday at Craigieburn's RAMS Arena.
Defensive pressure is expected from Shepparton products Hayley Doohan and Teagan Brett, while Murray Felines Zali Spencer will again be a target up forward.
Murray Felines' Emily Nicholson will be welcomed back into the team after suffering a concussion, while Finley's Lily Sharp returns after impressing in the future squad's game last week.
"Lily gives us a lot of run in the midfield and Emily gives us flexibility and is strong in the midfield," Madden said.
"Gippsland will be keen to get their first win.
"We have similar programs and challenges coming from the country.
"Gippsland are good with their effort, high chase and tackle rate, so it will be a good challenge."
