Registration for the Albury Gold Cup's 2019 Fashions on the Field opens at 10.30am and closes at 1.20pm.
This year's judging guide advises potential entrants that the experts want to see attention to detail, impeccable grooming and consideration of current trends.
"We want to see your personality shining through," the guide said. "Although it is autumn racing, Gold Cup day has often been a hot day in the past and your outfit should reflect the weather on the day.
"Think lighter fabrics incorporating autumn into the colour palette."
Judges will also be on the lookout for the wearer's confidence, how they present and carry themselves on stage.

In the millinery category, originality, style and the quality of the piece's workmanshi will be considered.
The Border Mail, in conjunction with Telstra in Albury and Wodonga, will be running a Hottest 100 Style Stakes competition, with the best dressed winning a Google Pixel 3 64GB phone, worth more than $1,200.
Two Toledo Wireless speakers with portable surround sound, valued at $300, will also be up for grabs.
