Prospects: With finals just slipping through the Saint' grip last season, they'll return with steady numbers to draw from. The inclusion of Brit Williams is set to add speed through the mid-court while Lauren Coelli and Lauren Kerrins are huge additions at opposite ends of the court.

CDHBU

Prospects: CDHBU Will have youth on its side this season. The young team will look to the knowledge of coach Daryl Howard to help them rise through ranks. Learning curve.

CULCAIRN

Prospects: Made significant inroads under coach Karly Way last season and will be looking to improve further. Likely to field a similar side with a young list.

HOWLONG

Gains: Tahnee Thorpe (Corryong), Rochelle Green (Federal).
Losses: Emma Ley (Shepparton), Ebony Hoskin (Lavington), Brooke Cannon (year off), Maria Ladgrove (year off).
Prospects: The Spiders have been thereabouts over the past two seasons and are keen to make the next step. Tahnee Thorpe is a talented shooter from the Tallangatta and Upper Murray leagues while Rochelle Green should strengthen the mid-court.

JINDERA
Coach: Courtney Katalinic

Prospects: Has strength at both ends of the court. Former league medallist Sharna Holland is strong in defence while the Bulldogs' mid-court will again be formidable. Likely to finish in the top-four with little to separate the Crows, BB Saints, Lockhart and Howlong. Darkhorse for the premiership.

LOCKHART

Prospects: Lockhart is expected to be strong again this season, with their squad still being finalised in preparation for the season. A lot will depend on whether the club's young guns stay at the club.
