B2B founder Lisa Cartledge said up to 65 walkers had already pledged their support to join her in a three-day 70-kilometre stroll from Beechworth to Bright from Thursday, March 28.
The aim is to walk and talk about suicide prevention and awareness in a bid to let the elephant out of the room.
This year's walk follows an epic journey by Ms Cartledge in 2018 when she - and a loyal band of fellow walkers - completed a 720-kilometre trek from Beechworth to Sydney Harbour Bridge.
The mother of three was motivated to act to raise awareness of suicide prevention and in a bid to reduce its stigma after losing her father, uncle and then her beloved husband Sean to its clutches.
This year's walk brings the message a little closer to home with walkers setting off from the Murray to the Mountains sign on Albert Road, Beechworth at 8.30am on Thursday.
Lunch will be at Everton Railway Station, provided by Beechworth Rotary Club with school children finishing their leg of the walk before the rest of the walkers march on to Everton Hotel
On Friday the walk will proceed from Everton to Myrtleford before the final leg to Bright on Saturday.
Whether people want to walk for one day or three, Ms Cartledge said there was an opportunity to meet other survivors and share your story, remember loved ones, or simply reflect quietly along the beautiful Murray to the Mountains Rail Trail.
