It will be only the second time in almost 40 years that B&H Homes have had an "open-house" of their Homestead series in a regional setting.
"It is a real privilege that our clients have provided this opportunity," B&H Homes director Joshua Baker said.
"Very selfless too.
"Having only completed construction this week they should really be moving in this weekend."
The open home will be in Rutherglen - making it the perfect opportunity to enjoy a day trip to the beautiful wine region and see this property.
Mr Baker said over the years B&H Homes had built many variations of this synonymous design.
"Although never the same home twice," he said.
"Every Homestead has been as unique as the landscape they were built upon. As is this home. I love this about our company. Not being a project/volume builder, we get to know our clients and their needs very personally."
Design versatility has made the Homestead series popular for a range of regional applications.
"We have built homes in this series in cutting-edge contemporary design, some as grand old farmsteads," he said. "And some modest to accommodate down-sizers or budget."
Suited to rural and lifestyle blocks, the Homestead series is a long and narrow plan.
Its shape provides a strong architectural presence and enables light to pour into every room and absorb the rural vistas.
"It is a design for the discerning client," Mr Baker said.
"As was the case for this Rutherglen home. Their elevated lifestyle block has full view of the alpine region and snow-capped mountains.
"Large feature glazed elements capture these views from a private family room.
"The family room can be either connected to the kitchen/meals area or isolated to be a dedicated retreat.
"That's a very small example of the many unique design requirements necessary to make this a successful outcome."
Mr Baker said the build process encouraged a collaborative relationship.
"We encourage our clients to embody the build and feel as if they are part of the B&H Homes family," he said.
