While much of the limelight will be on the Panthers' John Hunt in his 400th game, the Hoppers are hoping to run the home team ragged at Lavington Sportsground.
"We'll look to shift into a bit more metro style of football, probably like Albury and 'Wang Maggies' have been doing for the last couple of years," first-year coach Isaac Muller said.
"We'll look to play really quick on offence and lock it down in defence and make the ground as small as possible."
North will have six debutants, including former VFL player Ned McKeown.
"It's been a long time coming to prove to the doubters but, more importantly, we're going to showcase our young talent," Muller said.
North has been tipped as wooden spoon favourites.
And Lavington is looking to further harness its attacking style in coach Simon Curtis's second year.
