Sub-branch president Graham Docksey has invited all veterans who served in Afghanistan, Iraq and the Gulf War to join the head of the city's Anzac Day march down Dean Street on April 25.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"These younger veterans hold the future of the veteran community and more importantly are the ones that the community will look to in the future for the continuation of Anzac and Remembrance Day services after the older members pass on," he said.
"They need to get involved now so they can understand what's involved and why we still do it all these years after Vietnam."
Mr Docksey said younger veterans already marched in Albury's event, but in their different deployments.
"This year I want to make sure they're up front again to get the due recognition from the community," he said. "Become involved, socialise and exercise."
The Albury events on Anzac Day also include the dawn service, Waugh Road and main services.
