Jane Elizabeth Carla Miller drove her husband, Senior Sergeant Dean Miller, from Albury railway station to Table Top while nearly double the blood alcohol limit on March 3.
The pair had been at the Red Hot Summer Tour show at Gateway Lakes, and she had drunk about eight UDLs.
They had planned to catch a taxi after the gig, but Ms Miller instead decided to drive.
Her white Holden Rodeo utility was intercepted by police on Gerogery Road at Table Top about 11.25pm.
The vehicle had been travelling about 10km/h below the speed limit.
"The accused appeared moderately intoxicated and informed police she had consumed alcohol during the evening," Albury Local Court heard on Tuesday.
The 47-year-old was arrested and later returned a blood alcohol reading of .098.
Her licence was suspended on the spot due to the mid-range result.
Lawyer Angus Lingham said Miller regretted getting behind the wheel.
"Your honour, that decision in hindsight was very poor," he told magistrate Rodney Brender.
He said his client didn't feel like she was affected by alcohol.
Miller, who appeared to be distressed while in court, has completed a traffic intervention program.
Mr Lingham asked that the mother-of-three, who was supported during the matter by her officer husband, keep her licence.
He said she was "deeply remorseful" and hadn't appeared in court before.
She has only had three speeding fines in 30 years of driving and travels tens-of-thousands of kilometres each year for her work as a sales representative.
IN OTHER NEWS:
The court heard she hadn't eaten much while at the gig and was likely dehydrated, which may have had an effect on her alcohol reading.
Mr Brender said mid-range driving was a serious offence and ordered Miller off the road for three months.
"You're putting the lives of yourself and others at risk," he said.
"It's too serious of an offence for me to exercise discretion not to impose a conviction."
The magistrate also fined the Table Top woman $500.
She must have an interlock in her car once she gets her licence back.
