Brooks shot 51 goals to push the Pigeons above the Saints into the top five.
In just three games, the teenager now has 141 goals.
"Elle's been great, she's a really great asset for us and she's a great target under the post as well," co-coach Laura Irvine said.
The Pigeons have split their first four games and Brooks will play a crucial role if they're to return to their powerhouse status after missing the grand final for the first time in 11 years last season.
The rejuvenated Saints were able to keep the margin to five goals at three-quarter time.
"Myrtleford really brought it to us in the first half, but we got together and started playing a little more fluently towards the end," Irvine said.
The home team played superbly in the final quarter, posting 22 goals to 10.
While Brooks was outstanding, Tilly Kennedy was also superb, while Eliza York chipped in with 12 goals as well.
Eden and Saige Broz kept the visitors in the match for a long period with 32 and 15 goals respectively.
Saige Broz was a constant danger to the Pigeons, not only scoring goals but also creating opportunities.
Grace McKerral was another to play well as the Saints also head into round five with a two-two record.
Meanwhile, Lavington outscored Wangaratta Rovers in each quarter to post a 64-42 win.
The Panthers grabbed a six-goal break in the first stanza and followed it with a 19-10 third term.
Skye Hillier had a super game in attack, nailing 39 goals, while Sarah Senini chipped in with 25.
The home team's Caitlyn (22 goals) and Mikaela Cose (20) did their best to stop the visitors' lead blowing out, with Caitlyn and Jenna McLeod playing well.
The Panthers were best served by Laura Hueske and Maggie Young.
Lavington is one of two unbeaten teams, along with Corowa-Rutherglen.
And the Panthers will be desperate to retain that record when they play premiers Wangaratta next Saturday.
The Pies claimed their first title in the competition's 25-year history after Lavington went into finals undefeated.
It's a battle of the top four teams with Corowa to host grand finalists Albury.
