A partnership with the Australian government through the Direct Aid Program, the trip will involve several projects, including the creation of a new work to be performed in a return visit in June.
Projection Dance director Tim Podesta will visit iCog Labs, an artificial intelligence research and development centre in Addis Ababa, to discuss possible future creative and cross cultural projects involving the arts and software development.

Podesta said the tour schedule included two gala performances in South Africa.
