Riverina District Women's Bowling Association match committee chair Sue Thurley crossed paths with Murphy at last year's state pennant finals and managed to secure her services for four coaching clinics across two days at North Albury Bowling Club next week.
The news has been well received with Thurley confirming 46 women from Riverina District will participate next Tuesday and Wednesday.
Murphy, 44, has enjoyed a sublime two-decade long career competing at the sport's highest level.
After first falling in love with bowls at age 11, the experienced Murphy has amassed a host of achievements on her way to becoming the Australian Jackaroos' most prolific international representative.
Thurley is thrilled to have Murphy on board.
"Karen is one of Australia's most accomplished bowlers so to get her to come to Albury is a bit of a coup," she said.
"I opened it up to all the women's clubs in the district and I've got 46 ladies coming."

Murphy has donned the green and gold on more than 600 occasions, an achievement unmatched by any other individual.
A stalwart of the sport globally, Murphy has competed in five World Bowls Championships, the sport's pinnacle event, where she has collected four gold medals, including the coveted singles title in 2012 and again in 2016.
Murphy was also the first Australian bowler to contest five Commonwealth Games, the highlight a gold medal in the women's pairs in 2006.
She was given the honour of reciting the Athlete's Oath at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.
Murphy was among the first inducted into Bowls Australia's Hall of Fame in the inaugural ceremony in 2011 and was welcomed into the Women's Bowls NSW Hall of Fame in 2016.
The clinics will run from 10am to 12pm and 1pm to 3pm on both Tuesday and Wednesday.
