The Border NPL 2 outfit finds itself on the bottom of the table nearing the halfway mark of the season, with injuries to Fletcher Caponecchia, Ryan Luty and Aidan Rees testing the depth.
Murray has welcomed a host of talent midway through previous seasons, including striker Gonzalo Freddi and centre back Halil Gur from Richmond in 2017 - the latter still at the club, as well as Daniel Vasilevski last season.
Other soccer news:
"I think every side at this stage of the year is chatting to players to see what they're doing in terms of strengthening the squad and we're no different," Jones said.
Murray will look to get back to form when it travels to face Brunswick City on Saturday.
"I think what we've found over the past few years with Brunswick, they're always a really well drilled side," Jones added.
Kick-off is 3pm.
