"We have a lot of experience through our backs and midfield, but we've got relatively young forwards (Keegan Downie and Harry Prior) so we're going to be a fast team," coach Chris Holcombe said.
"Matty La Fontaine, Blaine Coates, Shannon Goldman and Sam Fowler, they're guys who've got some leg speed."
The home team is determined it won't rack up a third straight loss.
"The year (2017) we played Geelong at the MCG, they had an amazing side and last year Northern had a very solid side, really strong around the ball with a huge VFL contingent," Holcombe said.
MPN believes the O and M will be a bigger team.
"We'll have to try and combat their power in the air and hopefully get them on the ground," he said.
The match will be held at MPN's Olympic Oval from 1pm.
