Wear Orange Wednesday encouraged people to recognise and say thanks to more than 40,000 SES volunteers across Australia.
Albury and Wodonga SES members visited three primary schools and Community Kids Wodonga Early Education Centre as well as Wodonga's High Street.

A 6am workout session in orange overalls at CrossFit Albury Wodonga honoured Albury SES volunteer Jamern Emmett, who died last year after 26 years of service.
Wodonga SES community education facilitator Carina Heppell thanked everyone who showed appreciation.
"Even just saying thank-you if they're not wearing orange, it makes you feel really special," she said.
