The Crows stunned their more fancied rivals with a six goal to one opening term.
The home side struggled to make any significant inroads into the margin as the Crows coasted to a 15.12 (102) to 7.16 (58) victory.
Some of the gloss was taken off the win after Hayden Dalitz suffered a dislocated shoulder which is expected to be season ending.
Callum Dunstan also spent the second-half on the bench with a hamstring injury.
Livewire Josh Evans was a match-winner with six goals while Bronson Schofield also continued his good form in the midfield.
Coach Al Austin said the victory would do wonders for the Crows' self-belief.
"To win away from home was significant," he said.
"We copped a few injuries early and only had one on the bench after half-time which adds further merit to the win."
