EARLIER 3PM: A driver has been taken to Albury Base Hospital after crashing their car into a tree on the Hume Freeway at East Albury.
The freeway is closed southbound below East St after her car rolled around 1.45pm on Wednesday.
Southbound traffic is diverting via the East St off-ramp and returning to the Hwy via the on-ramp.
An Ambulance NSW spokeswoman said one patient "was trapped but was extricated".
"The single occupant was taken top Albury Base Hospital," she said.
More to come.
