Aylett is one a handful of VFL representatives who have nominated the Saints as their 'home' club, including Werribee star Matt Hanson.
It was considered highly unlikely any ex-AFL player would play in the O and M under the 'second' club rule, but the 27-year-old has played only one State level game for Essendon after battling a calf complaint
Aylett played one game with GWS and two with the Bombers at the elite level.
His inclusion provides the visitors with an enormous boost of upsetting the Panthers, while in further good news, coach Jake Sharp will also play after recovering from a quad complaint.
Myrtleford went into last round undefeated, but a 77-point caning by Albury pushed the club back to fourth.
Meanwhile, Lavington has recalled three players, including interleague defender Nick Meredith and clever midfielder Nick Holman.
Elsewhere, Albury star Brayden O'Hara will sit out Saturday's home game against Wodonga Raiders with tightness.
O'Hara only returned against the Saints after five weeks out with a quad injury.
Wodonga will debut exciting prospect Ethan Redcliffe at home on Saturday against Corowa-Rutherglen.
Redcliffe has dominated goalkicking at under 18 level, landing 37 in seven matches.
And Wangaratta's Michael Bordignon is back for Sunday's away game against Wangaratta Rovers.
