Rotary Club of Belvoir-Wodonga president Trevor Pearce said a bricklayer had been lined up to start work soon.
"We've got to this stage and only invested $25,000; the rest has been donated," he said.
"The community raised $150,000 so we will be able to cover some furnishings."
