Speedy mare Magnavale made it two wins from two starts this preparation after saluting in the $22,000 Class 2 Hcp, (1200m).
Jockey Mathew Cahill stalked the leader Critical Reaction from the start and took most of the home straight to run past the Hayes-trained filly.
Magnavale started as a $7-shot and has now won three of four career starts.
Widdison completed the double with recent stable acquisition Toorak Cowboy.
Toorak Cowboy was having his first start for the stable when winning the $22,000 Benchmark 74 Hcp (1400m) with Nikita Berriman aboard.
The five-year-gelding started at $7.50 and has won five of 30 career starts.
Wodonga trainer Peter Maher also enjoyed a longshot victory with Flying Cyril.
