The findings come from pleasure product company Lovehoney which analysed two years purchases and searches.
Rob Godwin, director and head of operations said eight regional towns feature in the top 10.
"It all comes down to what people can access," he said.
"Online purchasing is a lot easier."

The top search terms include njoy which are toys made from stainless steel, strap-on, wand and icicles which are products made from glass.
